It also shows which canon voice (Montaigne, Emerson, Nietzsche, etc.) and which living catalog mind sit closest to the text.

A full Rodin profile is a permanent, public intellectual fingerprint tied to your name, built from your own writing. The Lens is a one-off reading of any text — no account, no name, rate-limited. Lens readings get a shareable URL (rodin.fyi/lens/[id]) but do not create a profile.

Is the text I paste into the Lens stored?

The raw text is never persisted. The extracted fingerprint and match list are stored so the reading has a shareable URL, but Rodin does not keep a copy of the paragraph you pasted. A Lens reading is an analysis of a fragment, not a dossier on its author.
