Rodin is a tool that reads personal writing and generates an "intellectual fingerprint" — a structured analysis of recurring themes, open questions, mental models, intellectual influences, blind spots, and a core question. Profiles are publicly accessible by URL and are designed to facilitate connection between people who think similarly.
Rodin uses Anthropic's Claude AI to perform the analysis. The quality, accuracy, and completeness of any fingerprint is subject to the limitations of AI language models. The fingerprint is an interpretation, not a definitive characterization of who you are.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Rodin. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission.
You retain full ownership of any writing you submit to Rodin.
By submitting your writing, you grant Rodin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process the content through Anthropic's API to generate an intellectual fingerprint, and to store and display that fingerprint as your public profile. Your source writing is not stored by Rodin.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit the content you upload. Do not submit writing that belongs to someone else without their permission. Do not submit confidential information belonging to an employer, client, or third party.
When you create a profile, your name, contact handle, and intellectual fingerprint become publicly visible to anyone with the link. There is no private mode. Think carefully before creating a profile with a real name and real contact information.
You are responsible for the content of your profile. Do not create profiles for other people without their knowledge and consent.
You agree not to use Rodin to:
The intellectual fingerprint is generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude). It may contain inaccuracies, mischaracterizations, or gaps. Rodin does not warrant that the fingerprint accurately represents you or your thinking.
The fingerprint is produced from the specific writing you submit at a specific time. It is not a psychological assessment, professional opinion, or clinical evaluation. Do not rely on it as such.
By submitting your writing for analysis, you acknowledge that it will be processed by Anthropic's API. You can review Anthropic's policies at anthropic.com.
Rodin does not currently offer in-product profile deletion. If you wish to have your profile removed, email privacy@rodin.fyi with your profile URL. We will delete it within 30 days.
We reserve the right to remove any profile that violates these terms, without notice.
The Rodin name, logo, and product design are owned by Rodin. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of Rodin's intellectual property to you.
The AI-generated fingerprint derived from your writing is co-produced by you (the source writing) and Rodin (the analysis infrastructure). You may share your fingerprint and profile freely. You may not claim Rodin's analysis methodology or interface as your own.
Rodin is provided as-is. We may modify, suspend, or shut down the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any disruption to the service.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Rodin is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any fingerprint will be accurate or complete.
We are not responsible for how others use your public profile, or for any connections or interactions that result from the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rodin and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of reputation, or harm from AI-generated characterizations.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Rodin shall not exceed $100 USD.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Korea.
